U15 Limerick County v CWSSL

Cork started off brightly against a good Limerick County side. Holly McCabe opened the scoring for Cork early in the first half with a super strike from the edge of the box. Cork keeper Holly Homan made a number of saves to maintain the lead. Halfway through the second half Aine Sheridan put Cork 0-2 in front. Limerick County managed to pull one back with 10 minutes to go with a score at 1-2. However Meabh Collins found the net for Cork in the last 5 minutes to finish the game 1-3 to Cork. A fine display from the squad.

U13 Limerick County v CWSSL

This was a strong contest with both sides compe6ting for every ball. Ciara O’ Driscoll put Cork ahead with a huge strike from just inside the halfway line. Cork keeper Eabha O’ Kelly was kept very bust and made a number of saves to keep Cork ahead at half time. In the second half more end to end from both teams. It was Sarah Goulding who gave Cork their second goal half way through the second half to leave Cork ahead 0-2. Limerick managed to pull one back to b ring the score to 1-2 but Cork held on for the win. Great team performance by all.

Thanks to Limerick County for hosting two great games in beautiful sunny conditions. Next game is a home fixture for both U13 and U15 against Kerry on the weekend of 13th/14th November.
